About the Role

You will report to the Manager of Diversity, Inclusion, and Employee Experience, becoming an expert on our people, advocate for building a culture where every Mixpaneler belongs, and strategic partner to the business on D&I. You will support and implement programs along our Diversity and Inclusion roadmap, drive and advance our Corporate Social Responsibility pillar, and foster a culture rooted in our Culture & Values. At Mixpanel, our goal is to remove barriers, build community, level the playing field, and cultivate understanding –where diversity and inclusion is employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on our D&I roadmap to ensure D&I is embedded into all stages of the employee lifecycle from Day 1 and onboarding to our people programs (engagement survey, Growth cycles, etc), development and career advancement. 
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to support evolved ways to build employee connection, belonging and satisfaction.
  • Support and plan key global in-person events and programming centered around connection, community building, and service learning. 
  • Act as an internal and external ambassador of our Mixpanel Culture and Values with innovative ways to embed our culture across all employees and develop our external Employee Value Proposition for new recruits.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners. 
  • Work closely across colleagues in the People organization & other teams to design, scale and execute programming across geographies (US, EMEA, APAC).
  • Assist and advise on our D&I strategy with an emphasis on creativity and iteration.
  • Identify and build partnerships with strategic organizations, customers, and partners to build upon our holistic Corporate Social Responsibility roadmap with regional initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on D&I to influence decisions and drive accountability within the business.
  • Provide input and support to our Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development teams on diversity recruiting/hiring, the D&I learning roadmap, mentorship and Manager growth programs.
  • Contribute to company forums and contribute to Employee Resource Groups’ programming and vision setting.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator – you have strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • You are an excellent team player where no task is too small.
  • High emotional intelligence and excellent judgment – you will be dealing with sensitive topics and will need to be able to manage key relationships effectively. 
  • You work independently but know when to collaborate and/or when to seek approval.
  • A deep sense of personal accountability to drive change, see results through, and make things happen.
