EquityBee is hiring our first ever VP, People & Culture, to lead our people strategy.

Our company is all about providing the best possible service for startup employees and we want someone who can guide us toward providing the same experience for our own employees.

The VP, People & Culture will own our employee experience globally, execute on our people strategy in collaboration with leadership, lead and design employee-focused initiatives that support our organization and enhance a culture that exemplifies our core values. This is a high-profile position, reporting directly to the COO as part of the company’s senior leadership team. Come help us scale during this exciting growth period!

About the role...

  • Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team and assume ownership over our people strategy; create goals that increase the impact of our employees, employee engagement and wellbeing, and the workforce strategy to meet our growth trajectory.
  • Be a leader and advocate for our company culture; ensuring our mission and values are understood and put into practice.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging across the organization -- ensuring awareness of underrepresented perspectives and internal training on equitable procedures.
  • Oversee the Talent Acquisition department; collaborate with leadership to create a workforce development plan that supports our talent acquisition strategy by anticipating future talent needs and challenges.
  • Enhance employee experience, supporting the motivation, engagement and overall wellbeing of our employees.
  • Support and develop managers as a trusted business partner, equipping them with standardized frameworks and individualized solutions. Design and implement learning and development, career path, and job-leveling programs -- unlocking our team’s potential to grow in their careers.
  • Create and maintain compliant internal policies, procedures, and audit mechanisms and promote a performance-centered culture.
  • Lead our bi-annual performance & compensation review process. Establishing bonus and incentive models
  • Drive implementation and adoption of key people analytics to support thoughtful, data-driven people decisions
  • Own & evolve our People Operations - including HRIS, our international benefits strategy, policies, and internal systems.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience leading people operations for progressive, fast-growing start-up organizations
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven track record of effecting meaningful changes in a fast growing organization.
  • Knowledgeable in innovative, cutting-edge HR practices & trends; a strong leader who leads change and transformation.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational development, employee relations, and training and development.
  • Prior success working collaboratively across an organization with global partners and balancing and achieving multiple ongoing initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills up, down, and across the organization.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategy that drives business results.
