Bezos Academy is looking for a mission-driven professional who is passionate about people systems and analytics with a strong background in human resources. This role will support the People team and help our workforce scale and thrive as we expand our growing network of high-quality, tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools in underserved areas across the country.

You will design and manage the implementation, ongoing development, and overall maintenance of the People team systems suite, while ensuring efficient operations and analysis to meet current and future organizational needs. You will be responsible for capturing, directing, and analyzing all activities in these systems to maintain continuity and successful delivery of services to all users. You will support the entire People team and internal stakeholders in providing data analytics and insights.

Relocation support is available for this role. Relocation timeline TBD due to the pandemic.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of human resources experience, with 3+ years specifically serving in a systems and analytical capacity
  • Advanced experience with Excel, Tableau, or other HR or BI software
  • Previous experience with HR systems (ATS, LMS, HRIS, Compensation, Talent Management, CRM and more; any experience with Greenhouse, HubSpot, ADP WFN, or Qualtrics is a plus)
  • Strong communication and data visualization skills, including demonstrated proficiency in creating compelling, data-driven narratives and presentations
  • Utilize proven interpersonal and change management skills to champion adoption of new processes and technologies
  • Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding nationally distributed workforce with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong consulting skills with ability to lead design sessions with stakeholders, explain complex functionality, configure business processes, test functionality, document requirements, and assist with testing
  • Experience in a start-up is preferred
  • Experience joining data from multiple sources
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure HR systems meet organizational needs and goals
  • Completion of one full implementation with enterprise HR software and/or best in class SAAS (Workday is a plus)
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
