Our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) team is eager to offer an opportunity for an experienced DEI professional to join the team as our U.S. DEI Manager, advancing our equitable and inclusive people strategy for SoundClouders. This role will sit in Los Angeles and report into the Director of DEI, who is based in New York. 

What you’ll do:

  • Support our Diversity Resource Groups (Employee resource group equivalent) by driving collaboration across the groups and with the business, including the organization of Roundtables and All Hands/Town Halls, as well as supporting activations behind their cultural months 
  • Manage partnerships with DEI Learning vendors and external DEI-related speakers, including logistics and communications support 
  • Customize workshops to local DEI/SoundCloud cultural learning needs. 
  • Regularly engage and collaborate with internal subject matter authorities including Music, Marketing, People Team, Recruiting, Communications, and executive leadership Support impact tracking for DEI efforts, including quantitative and qualitative reports on employee sentiment and workforce representation
  • Help craft and drive culture and inclusion programs, from inception to launch and retrospective, including measurement of results
  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with industry associations, groups and partners relevant to supporting our DEI projects
  • Continually build their knowledge of the DEI landscape and emerging issues and opportunities, and communicate them as relevant to management and partners

Who you are:

  • At least 3 years project management experience
  • At least 2 years working experience within a diversity, equity, & inclusion team in a corporate setting
  • Have outstanding writing and presentation-building skills and is a compelling communicator
  • An execution-oriented, proactive, and resourceful self-starter with strong innovation, creative and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing and owning cross-functional team collaboration and processes while also being an incredible hands-on contributor
  • Experience developing partnerships with third-party organizations
  • Ability to track and report on program metrics
  • Direct experience leading a network of employee/business resource groups
  • Ability to simultaneously manage complex workloads, multiple demands, and competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with a global workforce
