Reporting to the GM/SVP of Meraki, you will lead the global Talent Acquisition team. You will own our TA strategy, brand and operational infrastructure and position the team to best enable Meraki’s sustained growth. You will build a compelling employee narrative and what differentiates us in the talent marketplace. As an authority in all things Recruiting, you have had sustained success in leading Talent teams, initiatives, and operations in a high growth environment. You are an inspiring communicator, commercially driven and an inclusive leader, capable of building engagement across all levels and functions in the company.

What you will do:

  • Operate as a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership team, collaborating with executive and HR leadership across Meraki and Cisco to build a talent vision and strategy that delivers on our business outcomes
  • Team with HR leadership to build talent management strategies including workforce planning, compensation, management/leadership development, onboarding/enablement, and retention
  • Align closely with our Finance organisation on growth plans and affordability targets
  • Grow and develop a 50+team and lead career development efforts including org planning, mentoring and onboarding/retention
  • Craft a compelling talent branding strategy to build awareness and attract a diverse pipeline of candidates to meet bold hiring targets.
  • Advise and balance talent strategies across professional, Dir+ and early in grade hiring to deliver tailored and appropriate hiring plans
  • Proactively influence a culture of diversity and inclusion through goal setting and concrete steps
  • Develop strategies for ongoing training of hiring teams on recruitment excellence and leading assessment practices
  • Keep abreast of the talent market, competitive landscape and relative trends
  • Foster an insight-rich, data-focused team culture, establishing key metrics to help achieve excellence in all Talent related activities. Build standard and transparent reporting to support process improvement and team productivity; optimize existing tools i.e., Greenhouse.

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of HR, Recruiting, or related experience in both technical and non-technical practice areas and 8+ years leading teams, preferably with a global reach. You have operated at scale, supporting global, multinational teams at mid-to-large-sized companies.
  • Set measures for success and are committed to quantifying impact. You use data and market insights to make decisions on strategy, prioritization and resource allocation. And, you thrive in a deadline driven environment.
  • Savvy about recruiting and HR in different geographical markets; understanding cultural differences and varying legal environments.
  • Fiercely collaborative. You take an organization-level view and are equally invested in the success of other departments. You invite and act on different points of view.
  • A Career Advocate. You invest in your team’s development, both technically and career-wise. You take the time to know what inspires and motivates each person and commit to making work meaningful.
  • Intellectually curious and creative. You are known as an innovative and forward-thinking Recruiting Leader.
  • Agile, confident, humble, low ego. You can work between cross-functional teams, minimize conflict, and advise team members on building consensus and have proven experience working effectively and building great relationships at all management levels.
  • The ability to travel in the U.S. and globally is required (25% of time)
