Your Role:

This role will have a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the vision, culture, and strategic direction of Nobell during this critical growth stage. As the leader of everything People within the company, the Head of People will serve as an influential business partner and advise executives on cutting-edge people programs that will directly impact the success of the company. They will assess the business’ existing people programs to determine which processes and systems are successful and which need to be modified and up-leveled to support a growing workforce that is changing the way the world thinks about sustainable food.

Responsibilities

  • Build people programs for scale - The Head of People will build practical people programs to drive talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management and development, employee engagement, learning & development, and culture to support the employee lifecycle. The people leader will up-level the existing talent management processes while introducing scalable programs that drive both accountability and retention across the organization.
  • Grow the team - As Nobell continues its growth trajectory, the Head of People will develop a comprehensive talent acquisition roadmap that ensures the organization is hiring the right talent needed for sustainable growth. Drawing upon previous experience driving recruiting within a startup environment, they will refine the existing process and build out the necessary team to support the company’s hiring plans, with a strong emphasis on candidate experience.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization - The Head of People will rely upon their advanced interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees from a wide range of disciplines, backgrounds, and levels within the company (e.g. individual contributors to the C-suite). They will use their strong communication skills to build trust across the organization and serve as a leader and coach to the existing team overseeing the people function.
